Marvel's The Avengers

I finally saw The Avengers the other day. I know it was a little late it was the earliest that I could see it.

As a huge Marvel fan and superhero fan in general Marvel's The Avengers was one of my most anticipated movies since Iron Man came out back in 2008. Was I satisfied? Read on on to find out.

21 Jump Street Review

Hey everyone! I finally managed to see 21 Jump Street recently and I'm excited to say that it is the very first movie in the review section of my blog!

After the Sitter came out I kinda thought Jonah Hill had maybe lost some of his comedy magic that I loved in Superbad and Get Him to the Greek. 21 Jump Street proves that I am way off on this thought. 21 Jump Street is a buddy cop comedy staring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

Catching Fire gets Director

Recently there has been a problem with the sequel to one of the biggest movies of the year, The Hunger Games. The director of the first movie in the will-be trilogy, Gary Ross, stepped out as director for the highly anticipated sequel. He stated, "I simply don't have the time I need to write and prep the movie I would have wanted to make because of the fixed and tight production schedule." The search for a replacement director has been going on the past few weeks and finally a director has been chosen.

The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer

Hey everyone! I introduce to you the brand new The Amazing Spider-Man trailer! I personally am very excited for this. This Spider-Man reboot tries to solve the mystery of Peter Parker's parents, while also having some awesome fights with the wise-a** superhero. And finally the webshooters are apart of the movies like they were in the comics and cartoons!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Mike's Boxoffice!



I'm Mike and I love movies. I spend almost all of my time watching, analyzing, making, learning, sharing, and thinking about movies. I watch as many movies as I can whenever I can, new or old I try to watch them all.

A few years ago I decided that I am going to save my movie ticket stubs for every movie I see in theaters for the rest of my life. The very first movie I kept my ticket stub for was Juno, the latest movie in my collection (as of 4/29/2012) is 21 Jump Street and there will be many more to come. In this blog I plan to share many things. Whenever I see a movie I'll write my own spoiler-free (because I am someone who hates spoilers to an extreme level) opinions or reviews of the movies. I'll probably stick to new movies though if I find something interesting about a movie that isn't new then I will write about it. I plan to post any and all trailers I find cool or are interesting to me. I also plan to write about movie news or rumors, and whatever movies are released each week. Polls will be released every now and then just so I know what others are thinking about movies.

I'd like to say here and will say again that everything I write is my own personal opinion and is in no way the "correct opinion" Please feel free to share your own opinions in the comment sections.

I'd also like to mention another blog I write for about video games called All Things Gaming. For my own opinions on the games I'm playing and for video game news be sure to check it out.
